We are based at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff Bay and specialise in wedding, portrait and events photography throughout Cardiff, South Wales and the UK.
Since establishing Photo Evolution Gail and I have brought our two distinctive styles of fine art photography and documentary photography together to create wedding photo essays of the absolute highest calibre.
Natural and unimposing our photography is made to be a positive addition to your wedding day, great effort is put into making the photo experience stress free as we capture all of the action throughout the day.

Two wedding photographers to cover all angles
Gail and I always work in a team, over the years we have built up a 'sixth sense' of knowing who is covering what and from which vantage point. Positioning and communication are so important in order to get the best shots, this is especially important when guest numbers are above 70 as the spontaneous nature of weddings often means that events occur simultaneously at different locations. Having two wedding photographers affords us the ability to be truly creative and capture parts of the day that you would never otherwise have seen for yourself.

The pre-wedding shoot
The pre-shoot provides the best way to get to know each other and marks the beginning of a great working relationship. It will build your confidence in front of the wedding photographer and allows us to create great photos.
The wedding day
We arrive approximately two hours before the service and photograph the preps, the build up and the excitement. Throughout the day we capture all the spontaneity, fun and romance finishing with the evening celebrations.
The wedding photography
Whilst you are enjoying your honeymoon, we will create a vibrant and stunning set of images for you. You will be provided with a password to the gallery where you can review all of your photos from the day and also order prints.
The wedding book design
We customise a book design and send a draft to you. With your input we perfect the design. Once the edit is finalised your book is printed and bound in Italy. The album will be ready 4-6 months after your wedding.
