A bit about us...

Both John and Gail were taught their craft by

Magnum Photographer Martin Parr...

Johns work has been exhibited in Art Galleries through out the U.K and Europe. John has consciously kept his style and applied it to his wedding work, in his unique and original documentary style. John spends the day soaking up the atmosphere in and around the wedding party sizing up the visual, looking for the emotional, a 1/60th of a second here,1/ 25th of a second there. By the end of the day he has photographed hundreds of lyrical moments from your day. This is the essence of his style, natural, quiet, unobtrusive, pure documentary.

Gail’s approach to wedding photography compliments Johns perfectly. Her photography is considered, intimate and original. Gail possesses the knack of being able to make people relax and smile, she is a people person. After leaving West Surrey College of Art & Design, Gail set up her own studio in Brighton and throughout the nineties produced wholly original portraits and still life images. It was during this time that Gail perfected her sense of composition and control of light and shade. In her spare time one would often find her browsing magazines or buzzing about London taking in the latest exhibition looking for the new and inspirational.

Now concentrating exclusively on wedding photography Gail captures the romance and beauty of you and your guests.

Preferring not to create her photographs in one big afternoon "Photo shoot", Gail likes to take the bride and Groom (and Guests) away to one side for periods through out the day.
Constantly checking on Pre determined locations around your wedding venue when she sees that the "light is just right" she will whisk you away for a few minutes to get the perfect picture. One only has to look at her previous work and list of recommendations to see that she is a natural.

When asked whose work they are most influenced by, they happily talk of their admiration for painters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt or photographers such as Robert Frank and Andreas Gursky. With their personal projects firmly entrenched in the Arts, their influences naturally come from a broad fine art background.
