Just received an email from a documentary photography friend of ours- Marketa Luskacova. She came and taught at Farnham when Gail and I were students way back in 1992 and we have stayed in contact ever since. Marketa was particularly supportive of the set of images I was working on that portrayed the life and times of travellers in Britain [see documentary gallery]. Having been married to Joseph Koudelka and working on similar projects in Czechoslovakia a strong bond was formed [Marketa also created some wonderful images of ourselves and our children which are treasured by us both].

Marketa's latest exhibition has opened in Prague and focusses on the Catholic festivals which are re emerging after the Communist period.

Gail and I are looking forward to see the exhibition when it arrives in the UK!
